About Us
FluxDynamics, Inc. is an early stage, privately held company that designs, manufactures, and markets uniquely cost-effective, ultra-efficient electric motors for use in commercial, industrial, and light mobility applications.
We are incorporated in Delaware and operate out of Silicon Valley, CA (R&D) and Denver, CO (Administration and Operations).
FluxDynamics was founded in order to address the primary issue that has inhibited the widespread adoption of higher efficiency electric motors – that is, their high initial cost premium when compared to commonly used but much less efficient AC induction motors.
While electric motors produce no carbon emissions, the production of that electricity is dominated by the burning of fossil fuels, which do. Currently, over 60% of electricity produced is generated from fossil fuels, with their associated greenhouse gas emissions. Enhancing motor efficiency helps reduce electricity demand, hence mitigating the environmental impact of power generation, since the move to more sustainable energy sources will take decades.
